Ignition Casino is a sister site of Bovada.lv, and Bovada is actually transitioning all of its poker accounts over to this new service. Like Bovada, Ignition is based in Canada and licensed and regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Those familiar with Bovada Poker will find this service quite similar, and they can continue to enjoy anonymous tables, Zone poker, mobile poker and so forth.

Redeem Ignition Poker Bonus Code
To get started, click here to create your new and valid account at Ignition Poker.
Then log in and visit the Cashier. Select your payment method and the amount you would like to deposit. Then at the bottom left side, you will see Available Bonuses. Click the down arrow to see all available options and select Ignition Casino Welcome Bonus.
This is the only bonus option available to Ignition Poker. The other options apply ONLY to Ignition Casino!
Complete your deposit and you will automatically receive a 100% deposit match for a welcome bonus worth up to $1,000. The bonus is attached to your account right away, but you won’t actually receive any money until you earn the necessary Poker Points. Furthermore, you’ll have 30 days in which to download the poker software and earn PP. After that, any unclaimed bonus money is lost.
In addition to the $1,000 welcome bonus, you may also receive up to another $100 for the refer a friend bonus, for a total of $1,100 in poker bonuses!
Claiming You Ignition Poker Bonuses
There are two types of poker bonuses at Ignition: rollover and rollover-free. When you earn a rollover-free bonus, such as a bad beat bonus, the money is added to your account in full. When you earn a rollover bonus, such as the welcome bonus, the casino pays the bonus out in increments based on PP earned.
The payout rate tends to vary between promotions. In the case of the welcome bonus, you’ll earn $5 at 15 PP, $20 at 85 PP, $25 at 185 PP and $50 at 400 PP for a total of $100. Any bonus money earned this way must be played through once before a withdrawal is allowed.
Earning Ignition Poker Points
Ignition awards you Poker Points when you participate in a ring game or a tournament with a cash buy-in. During ring games, you’ll earn between .05 and 1 point per rake based on your contribution to the rake. Points earned from tournaments are awarded based on the buy-in: three points per $1 paid. PP are awarded to your account within 24 hours and are good until June 1, at which point all unused PP expire and your PP pool begins anew.
For cash games, you earn poker points based on the amount you contribute to a raked pot. Here is the chart for cash games below. For tournament play, you earn 3 Poker Points for every $1 you spend on tournament entry fees.
Royal Flush Bonus
Hit a royal flush in a Texas Hold’em ring game, and the casino will award you a rollover-free bonus on top of any other winnings. The bonus amount is 50 times the big blind up to $200. This bonus is limited to games involving three or more players, and your hand must use both pocket cards and win the pot. If your hand meets this criteria, then you’ll have 48 hours to contact support and claim your bonus.
Bad Beat Bonus
Like many poker rooms, Ignition offers bad beat protection. Protection is limited to Texas Hold’em ring games involving three or more players. In addition, you must use both pocket cards, and the hand must go to showdown. If you meet this criteria, then the casino will pay out a rollover-free bonus worth 100 times the big blind up to $1,000. Note that the bonus won’t kick in automatically, and you’ll have to contact support within 48 hours of the bad beat occurring.
Swap Your Poker Points
As mentioned earlier, your Poker Points expire every June 1st. You should note the date, but not worry about PP expiring, however, since it’s fairly easy to convert them into either poker tournament tickets or casino bonus money.
Note that Ignition doesn’t allow converting PP into straight cash. The exchange range is 200 PP per $1, so a $5 tournament buy-in would cost 1,000 PP. Note that casino bonuses purchased this way are subject to a 20x rollover requirement as well. Purchases of tournament tickets have no additional requirements. One final point is that some tournaments sweeten the pot and let you stretch your PP further, so keep an eye out for those discounts.
Tell a Friend Bonus
Ignition has a referral bonus that’s worth 200 percent of the initial deposit up to $100. This bonus is usable at the casino and in the poker room. If you choose to use it on poker, then there’s a 3x rollover requirement in poker points, and Ignition won’t allow a withdrawal until your each this mark. So if you’re friend deposits $50 and earns you the maximum $100 referral bonus, you’d have to earn 300 PP in order to clear the bonus.
Deposits & Withdrawals
The deposit minimum at Ignition is $20, and you may deposit via bitcoin, credit card or Rapid Transfer. Most major credit cards are supported as well as debit and prepaid/gift cards. Note that as of October 1, 2016, Ignition has instituted deposit fees. There’s a flat $12 fee for Rapid Transfer deposits, and credit card fees range from 5.9-9.9 percent. Withdrawals can be made by bitcoin, Rapid Transfer or check by courier. The withdrawal fee is $50 for Rapid Transfer and $75 for check by courier. There are no deposit or withdrawal fees when using bitcoin, however.
We recommend depositing and withdrawing via Bitcoin since there are no fees. If you do not have a Bitcoin account, we recommend opening an account at Coinbase – it’s simple and easy to use.
Ignition Poker Review
The software used by Ignition is simply a rebranded version of the Bovada software. The good news here is that that platform is very polished at this point. The desktop software supports Windows 7 or later as well as Mac OS X 10.7 64-bit or later. The mobile app supports iPhone and iPad as well as Android and Windows Phone smartphones and tablets.
The experience between the desktop software and mobile app is very consistent, including the features. Popular features include anonymous tables, which makes it hard for opponents to profile you; a wide range of table and playing card customizations; fully downloadable complete hand histories and history viewer; rabbit cam; multi-table play; and more.
Poker Games Supported
Ignition supports Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Lo, and you have your choice of standard ring games or Zone play. Carried over from Bovada, Zone play maximizes your playing time by moving you to a new table as soon as you’re out at the current game. The entire Bovada network has carried over, which means that it’s the third largest poker network in the world, which is quite impressive.
Popular Poker Tournaments
Ignition has also taken on Bovada’s tournament schedule without much change. You’ll find sit-and-go tournaments to participate in regardless of your schedule. SnG buy-ins range from $1.10 to $215, and formats include deep stack, satellite, turbo and triple up. Mad Monday features a slate of tournaments with payouts as high as $100,000 guaranteed and buy-ins as lows as $3.30. There’s also a $100K guaranteed tournament every Sunday, and more than $2 million guaranteed in tournaments scheduled Monday through Sunday.
Customer Support
The Ignition Casino website has a built-in FAQ that will answer most basic question. If you need human attention, then you can contact support via email or a toll-free telephone number. Live chat is not supported. Support by phone is available around the clock, however.
Overall Impressions
There’s a lot to like about Ignition: the network is large, the traffic is stellar and the promotions are pretty good. Zone play is very popular, the tournament schedule may be as good as it gets and the selection of poker formats is good enough for most. The transition from Bovada to another brand understandably causes concern among players, but so far so good. Nevertheless, there are some aspects we don’t like. No live chat is nearing deal-breaker status in this age of technology. We also don’t like how the casino is essentially increasing deposit fees if you are not using Bitcoin. A final quibble is we’d like PP to convert directly into cash for players who prefer ring games over tournament play.
Overall, Ignition Poker is a great online poker room for USA players. Click here to open your account today!

the poker site has all the same features as bovada poker which is good for me because i came from bovada - but now i get a new poker bonus! the poker bonus is actually VERY good, the first payout of 5 bucks is the same as 100% rakeback which is insane! good poker room and recommend it
Seems better than Bovada Poker - the cards seem more random rather than the crazy bad beats. Recommend depositing with bitcoin and not dealing with their credit card service which probably sucks like Bovada.
